Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies.
First foray into baking with Tahini. They are not too sweet with a savory flavor. A nice balance with chocolate. They are vegan; dairy free, and gluten free.
1 cup Tahini ( I used Whole Foods organic)
1/2-1 cup Honey (This is what I had but you can use coconut sugar or another substitute -used 1/2cup)
1 cup Oat Flour
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup filtered water
1/2 - 2/3 cup chocolate chips
Bake at 350 in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
