Summer Wellness and Sustainable Ideas.

WELL, well. We have reached summer. Here is to long days and hot nights. 

Listing a few ideas to take with you as you prepare for events and entertain this summer!

NUT MILK

Delicious make your own. Nut milks are up to 7 dollars for the clean versions due to inflation.

1/4 cup hemp seeds - ground before mixing together.

1/2 soaked cashews. Soak for 1-2 hours. Can do without but consistency is better.

4 cups water.

3 tsp. of maple syrup.

Make night before and re blend in morning for a frothy milk. Really "good" topped on organic coffee.

ENTERTAINING 

Glass Containers.

Tablecloth - Fabric

Limit plastic decorations - especially balloons.

Gas Grills - Healthier for gut health and the atmosphere.

Plan ahead - Make your own food. There is so much waste from takeaway. From the plastic containers to the transport to get it from here and there. Plan your meal and have glass containers ready to give to guests.

Potted plants or herbs.  Basil plants are great to give as gifts. Pesto is a fave around these woods.

BODY WELLNESS

Lips - Sugar and olive oil to exfoliate.

Feet - Olive oil, Lemon, Sugar. Tea tree oil to keep clean and free of bacteria.

Hair - Organic Argan Oil before heading out in sun.

Insect repellent - Neem Oil mixed with water. Buy the organic to insure nothing else.

Tinted lip Balm - Nars - Dolce Vita. The best! Add a tiny bit of mineral screen on naked lips before.

SPF - Mineral safest and easiest on skin.
