Sustainable Actions.
Recently, an e-commerce (selling site) company published that they were taking steps to add labels for their sellers like; recycled content, vegan, organic cotton, reusable, etc. .
We need more of this across all platforms. Bringing awareness and measurable data to companies will help with consumer insights. It will be a good way to see the shift in consumer values. Giving companies information into what kinds of initiatives are needed and most important to an organization.
The sellers would need to validate their products being purchased from sustainable manufacturers with documentation to insure credibility. As long as there is some sort of chain of custody from the company this new way of highlighting the sustainability of their product is a great idea and much needed in all forms of commerce.
